Watermark images online

Protect and brand your photos with a text watermark — pick the position, size, opacity, colour and rotation, or tile it across the whole image like a stock-photo proof. What you see in the preview is exactly what you download, and everything is processed on your device; nothing is ever uploaded.

How to watermark an image

  1. Step 1

    Add your images

Drag one file or a whole batch onto the box, or click to browse. The first preview renders instantly on your device — there is no upload step and no account.

  2. Step 2

    Design the watermark

Type your text, then fine-tune the position, size, opacity, colour and rotation — or turn on Tile for a repeated, diagonal proof-style watermark. The live preview is exact.

  3. Step 3

    Watermark and download

Press Watermark images and every queued file gets the same design, ready to download as PNG, JPEG or WebP. The originals stay in the queue untouched.

Frequently asked questions

How do I watermark photos with text?

Add your image, type the watermark text, then choose a position, size, opacity and colour in the panel. The preview updates as you adjust, and Watermark images produces the finished file for download. Every setting is a percentage of the image size, so the same design suits photos of any resolution.

Will the downloaded image match the preview exactly?

Yes. The preview and the final output are rendered by the same drawing code — the preview is simply a smaller render with every measurement scaled proportionally. Position, size, opacity, rotation and tiling are identical in the downloaded file, so there is no guessing.

Can I watermark several images at once?

Yes. Queue as many files as you like, design the watermark once, and press Watermark images — every photo in the queue receives the same design. The finished files collect in the results list, each named after its original with a -watermarked suffix, and the originals stay untouched.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Decoding, watermarking and re-encoding all happen locally in your browser inside a Web Worker. Your files never leave your device — and because the result is re-encoded, any existing EXIF metadata is stripped from the output as a side benefit.

Can I create a diagonal, tiled watermark like stock photos use?

Yes. Turn on Tile and the text repeats across the whole image in a staggered grid. Combine it with the rotation slider — about −30° gives the classic diagonal look — and lower the opacity for a subtle, professional result.
